I got all the parts now to put the rear end in. Now I just gotta find time...lol Hoping to do this weekend sometime. I have the Cal track leaf springs, the cal track bars new perches andU- bolts. I got the hangers of the parts car, blasted them and painted them with some POR-15.
I am still trying to figure out what shocks to put on. |

| After a long wait, finally got the time to part the rear end in today. Still have to set the pinion angle and install new shocks. Everything bolted right in, took about a hour to do the install. I will post a few pictures tommorrow. |

| The cragers are just temperary. I am not sure what kind of wheels I will put on it yet. Right now I am trying to get a few other things fixed, next thing is a bad spot on the front frame where the K-member mounts up. |

the cragars are cool..
but those cars look tougher with as cast wheels... for some reason..
it also might be cause cragars suck up here in rustbelt land...
steelwool and wax.. gets old fast |

well....the one on the right is a factory piece.
The previous owner removed the left side louveer assembly at one point, busted that thing all to hell...SJ now needs a replacement(good luck).
The cragar S/S wheels actually look RIGHT on this thing......he was adamant about a set of Ansen Sprints like he had on his old Volare'.....of course, he was on a kick about a set of the old American Racing Vortex wheels(General Lee wheels)...
I suggested a set of Weld Draglites(I fucking LOVE those things, wanna get a set for the Camaro), but he wants something that no one else really has...I can respect that. |
