Got the car into the shop today for the first time. We set the pinion angle and spot welded it in place, then the rear end came back out to finish welding. While it was out it gave me time to remove some junk and unneeded parts like the smashed exhaust and the rear sway bar that is no longer needed. Hear are a few pictures.
I will have a few more after this weekend! |

cal-tracks are over engineered slapper bars, right??
at least all the ones I've seen, looked like they where..
how is that gonna control body roll(sway)
I know it will when it gets to it's stops..
and unload the tire in the middle of a turn..
I don't have a pair here..
to look at.. to see how it work..(haven't seen a set in 2 years) |

| This car won't see to many fast turns. It will be driven on the street but any fast driving will be done at the drag strip. I am not to sure how they would stop the body sway or anything like that. One of the main reasons I went with Cal-track was my last F-Body had a bad traction problem, so I am hoping this will help this car. Also I had nothing but a rear end so I got the mono leaf springs and there bars so I could just bolt everything in. |

Airhead...LMAO
Guys, I razzed the living shit out of SJ when he first got this thing....but he's making progress.
He's got a 360 short-block for it now, and some "J" heads...if he builds this like he did the last one for his old Challenger, those CalTracs bars are gonna get one hell of a workout.
I'm not a Mopar guy, but I'll even admit to sorta/kinda starting to like these things. |
