ok guys. i was running around with last minute details doing all kinda shit on not much sleep. was up all day on the second slept for a few hours up all day the 3rd running between 2 counties up all night went to the air port tired as fuck, flew out, arrived, found Cap ran around with him for a few hours (his wife made fun of my big feet yo Rolling Eyes

) found my second pick up went to the motel met the girl hung out with her at the motel for a few hours went to wal mart and back to the motel went to eat then fireworks, after fireworks back to motel then more running around/hanging out. finally got bed around 3 am.

i tried to get some good pics of the flight but they want all electronics off for the good stuff. i have been up before just not on a commercial flight. i was a bit nervous and my lil sister was txting me scared and crying that i was flying off to TX and she was worried about my safety. all the way to the airport i was getting txts about i dont want you go. imma miss you. be careful. mom says she was bawling her eyes out.
so im looking at the jet. getting these txts essentially saying please dont die in a horrific plane crash... and the nervousness set in. im a big guy and had my carry on and my laptop bag walking down the narrow aisle and getting to my seat that was comfortable enough to sit in for a few hours but i couldnt imagine being cramped in like that for any longer than that. i had a window seat and getting settled in i felt really nervous about the whole situation. then the plane started to move and i got the "oooooh shit" feeling. when we got to the strip and I felt the engines power up and seeing the ground go by i was like hold shit im going to TX... and was ok after that. seeing the ground leave and all the houses get really small really fast was pretty cool. for being a bit nervous about the flight i really enjoyed it, the turbulance was just enough to be interesting. once we got above the clouds and couldnt really see anything i hooked up on the lap top and watched 2 lane backtop with my headphones on. i have a video player that lets me adjust everything from picture to sound so it was really cool. bringing the bass levels up made it sound right.

alot of the other passengers were a ladies college basketball team.

so i get to DFW and find myself abit lost. i looked at maps of the place a few times before i left so i would have a pretty good idea of where things were, but it didnt help. i had to search for the way out. i didnt have a bag to claim so i didnt think that the way out was next to that.

Bob was talking to girls mother (that picked me up from Cap) about how his customer service is the best there is to offer and his commitment to his guests is above everything else. lmao i was standing there thinking "YES BOB! your customer service dedication is that good, and yet it took me 12 or more calls to find out i had a room" by the way I still didt have a room until the girl got there before me and started bickering with him and his wife stepped in knowing the situation and made him give me a room.

when i finally got in the room and everything i could finally relax. everything was good. spent some quality time with her.

i expect today to be a bit more relaxed than the past few days. resting up for 6 flags tomorrow. imma try for fossil rim (i think thats what its called).

so far i have had people stare at me from their truck when i am talking.
stare at me in the air port when im on my phone.
make fun of my big feet.
I have had various cashiers actually smile at me when i tell them "thank you" and say "have a good night" as i leave the store. < doesnt happen back home. ever. Cool

gah there is too much just on the getting here and the first day and i feel like im rambling a bit. i have pics but im unmotivated to import them and post them just yet. i really need to change settigs to pics go straight to the card. Rolling Eyes

so yeah im having a blast here. loving it. things are good with her as far as i know. i have not fucked that up yet. hopefully she will see past my excitement/ tired ramblings from yesterday and last night and laugh it off as im just a dork... Embarassed

. Sounds like your having fun. I found out the hard way that some Texans are still fighting the War, and hate Yanks! If you treat them with respect nine times out of ten they'll come around. i honestly dont think i will. im pretty easy going usually til that button is pressed. its there if he wants it but if i run into a situation ill try to diffuse it before i have to choke anyone out.

like i said though everyone has been pretty nice to me though i get a few stares. last night at whattaburger i was talking to her and there was giggling at the other table, they called 16 and i said "thats us" to the girl and one of the guys at the table looks at me as i walk by and says something to me i think just to get me to respond so he could figure out if i was local. lol

yeah thats it. i was in the window looking at the planes and taking pics and checking out the vehicles you only see at the airport. as i was pressed against the glass i noticed everyone else doing the same was probably 10 : / ok so imma dork. Laughing

in the seat. yeah i know return of fordguys shitty pics. look at it and remember days past when i was trying to explain my truck beast project.
anyway... cramped space odd smell. loud people settling in (though the flight its self was very peaceful.) 2 lane blacktop though a decent headphones insured that. laptop speakers cannot do that soundtrack justice.

it was a trip to see that wing bounce in flight.

^in the air travelling at the speed of John Force! at this point my pre flight jitters were having its ass kicked by the badass ness of speed and the thrill of take off and hearing the engines scream. the major left turn that tipped the whole plane sideways was icing on the cake. it was a blast.

the view from my room waffle house. so close yet so far away. traffic. road construction. walking through a hellfire sauna for a pecan waffle and double hasbrowns with chili, cheese, and jalapenos might just happen.

thats all right now. i should have some stuff tomorrow or the next day.
