new Chevy Camaro beat the newly-redesigned Ford Mustang and now-already-a-year-old Dodge Challenger in sales for September. It's the fourth straight month it's done so. _________________

It's still ugly, hard to see out of, fat and cheap on the inside. I know, I spent 13 hours straight with one...far too long. _________________ ~Craig, Administrator of this Facility

Picky, picky...sound like the snobs@Car&Driver....LOL
I'd own one just for the fact that I'd finally have a Camaro that some other schmuck hadn't half-butchered before I got my mitts on it.
I will admit, they do seem a bit on the large side, and from having just sat in the seat, visibility could be a hell of a lot better than it is(3rd-gens are GREAT for visibility)......still not 100% sold on the rear-end treatment. _________________ if it don't bother me, it shouldn't bother you |

Bow, I HAVE been in a first-gen......and I gotta say the visibility is better with the old cars.
*shrugs*
Lots of people like to rag on the 3rd-gens, but I like the damned things....the HP deficit is easily corrected.
Just the damn-near impossibility to run true duals is the part I dislike....that, and leaky T-tops.

| too much money for a plastic interior that makes an entry level Honda Civic feel like a BMW M5. The one I rode in, was a rattly/squeaky pile - but, if they were looking to match the 1st gen camaros, I'd say they hit the mark. |

Although I'm happy GM finally built a winner with the public; It just doesn't grab me in the the looks dept. In that sense, I still like the Challenger better.
I hate the looks of the '10 stang. I drove the one CC had for a few weeks. A GT with the track pack and a stick. I liked it, but it wasn't awe inspiring. _________________

I had true duals on my '85 but.. the two pipes where both run over to the pass side floor , and it was tight.. and was a bitch to weld all the bends..
there was no way a pipebender was not going to crimp the pipe dpwn to almost nothing..
then ,of course ,they came out with the 3" and 3.5 and 4" exhaust systems for those cars.. that ran two head pipes into two verters into one 3-4" mid pipe to a muff. to two tail pipes |
