whats your number?
i'm at 3. i've sent 2 cars into ditches & layed my minibike down last week in the rain.
the first was when i was 14, it was a red 5 speed eagle talon I was pushing beyond it's limits. very soft landing considering i was going over 40mph.
the second time was in the rain learning to powerslide. spun it 360* and the bumper buckled on a culvert. the minibike has minimal damage (couple scratches) but my knee is pretty ripped up. i flattracked 35 feet before it got too 'sideways' & threw me off.[/quote] _________________

Its definitely the wrong section, but I'll answer anyways: none. I haven't been in any wrecks. _________________ "The end is never as satisfying as the journey. To have achieved everything but to have done so without integrity and excitement is to have achieved nothing."- unknown |

I have myself a 3... on 3 different cars.
1 - When I first got my license I drove a Villager and as I was turning into my high school parking lot one morning I turned right into the back of an SUV (cause I'm a moron and wasn't paying attention) and I busted up my headlight. The car was a POS anyway, but thanks to that accident it didn't pass inspection.
2 - I had a Dodge Spirit and after spending a week recovering from a visit to the hospital I had to drive down to campus to take an exam. We had had a pretty bad snow storm a few days before and the roads were still slick. I watched 2 accidents happen before me and I was the final car sliding on the snow under the back of and SUV totaling the car.
3 - This wasn't really a wreck, but just recently I was on my way to pick my brother up from tennis practice down at the high school and I ran over a huge rock blowing out my tire. Had to get it replaced of course and it sucked. |

Well, what do you consider an accident?
I've been into a ditch and wrecked one. Same car both times. I've sent my Caddy all sorts of places it shouldn't go including a field that most trucks wouldn't get through. 2" of rain + 2' of clay makes for some thick fricken mud!
I think that's it...... _________________ I don't fail, I succeed in finding what doesn't work. |

depends on your definition of a wreck.
Ive sent the Malibu off the road in a ditch full of boulders.
Ive hit a truck in moms saturn a year ago.
Ive hit so much stuff in my Toyota that it would be in the 9+ category. Ive hit the horsetrailer, barn, cows, dirt bike tracks, etc. |

my definition of 'wreck' starts with bending something. _________________

I've backed into 2 poles, with 2 cars (my Eagle, and an SV6 at work, a customers car), but nothing noticable, so no real wrecks _________________ "If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under."- Ronald Reagan

then 9+ because i just dont care in the old yota.
also add a wreck on the KLX. Didn't hurt the bike at all, cant even tell. Hurt my ribs and arm though. forgot about a curve. locked back wheel then decided to go through teh field, didn;t look like a ditch. Glass was like 2ft tall and when i hit it it went over. KLX is an off/on for those who dont know. |

I rolled a gas tanker, filled with 8500 gallons of gas, after colliding with a dude who ran a stop sign. I was probably going 40 when I hit him, pushed the front bumper into the steering axle, rendering wheel input moot. I took out about 100' of guardrail, ended up on top of a ditch. When the truck quit going forward, it fell on it's side, about 3/4 over or almost on it's roof.
Long story short, the dude survived, albeit with severe injuries, the road was closed for six hours for cleanup, the tractor was destroyed, the tanker got reskinned, I was back in a truck that Monday. No fire, no major leak, lots of excitement. For a few moments, I thought I was gonna die.
I've had others but this one was by far the largest. |

At least 5. I been in a few too. A funny one was on the way back home from fishing me and some friends were riding in the back of a Ford Ranchero when a tire blew out. We ran off the road and took out an Amish family's fence. He was nice about it but upset too.
My fist wreck was when I was 15. I was working as a farm hand for a fella who owned a 1967 chevy PU. He'd always brag about how the tires that were on it were original. I took it out for a spin every chance I got. One day he left for town and I took it out for a spin. I didn't have much experience with a manual shift and I accidentally gave it too much gas while shifting. I fished tailed right smack dab into a ditch. Needless to say I tried my damnedest to get the truck out of the ditch. I boiled the tires off until they were bald. A road grater passing by had to pull me out. He fired me when he got home.
Years later I got a Buick Regal. I was stopped at an intersection and a 18 wheeler's trailer tires rolled over the back half of the car.
I was at an intersection in my Caprice when someone ran the stop sign and hit the right rear on my car.
Of course you know the other one, when I got shot at, at my job and totaled the Caprice. |

As a professional driver; I've been on the receiving end of accidents far more than causing them. As a matter of fact; I've no chargeable accidents ever while on the clock. (Knocking on wood.) I figure I've driven about 1.2 million miles while working the last 22 years. That's depressing now that I think about it.
OK, I wrecked my 71 Impala twice my senior year of high school. Both were very minor. The first was me changing lanes into another car. That's when I learned about blindspots. The other happened during the first day of snow. I came into a four way intersection that looked more like a hockey rink than a road. When I hit the brakes they immediately locked up and I slid into the intersection connecting with the rear bumper of an equally out of control 80 something Malibu. The police called it a "no fault, weather related" accident.
Those were the only two I've caused myself. I have been several ugly ones as a passenger. I've found those worse than being in one as a driver. _________________
