no motor, no interior... Confused
but I have an S10 with a stout 350 and aftermarket bucket seats that might get cannibalized for this, anybody looking for an s10 Twisted Evil

sup man,
it's was a project the guy fell through on. he said he was 72 and was going to scca race it but just got too old, he acted more like he was in his 60's to me. I asked him if he wanted to go for a ride in my s10 and he said heck yea.. so we blazed rubber 1st & 2nd to about 45 mph and was all excited Shocked never saw a 70+ year old ride with me before and yell "I love it!!!"

anyways the car has 3.08 posi, 2.5" exhaust with x pipe, 4 core aluminum rad (or 2 actually being aftermarket) and the roll bar, other than that it's stock. He did say it was a C.O.R. car whatever that means? targa top too..

C.O.R.= Corvette Owner's Registry?

Thumbs-up on the purchase! Owning a Corvette has always been one of my dreams/goals(no gold chains, though...shit pulls chest hair!)....looking at the body, I would venture a guess at it having the digital dash.

Was this an automatic, or set up for a manual?

ahh.. that probably what COR is.. no big deal then, he made it sound like it was special Wink

and it was a digital dash but he said they were junk, only read 85 mph so he pulled it and put in all aftermarket gauges with a programmable 140 MPH speedo. 700r4 tranny.. ugh.. not sure what to do about that, wish my s10 had a long tail 350 as I'd just use it instead. I'm afraid that this 84 700 is one of the weak ones too... ?

it's probably going to be my daily driver b/c if I have to rip the s10 apart the only other ride I'm going to have is my bike.. and that is going to be cold during the winter...
hopefully I see 12's, 20 MPG and driven daily.... raced as often as possible too Cool

Better keep that TH7004R then...yes, the 1982-1985 model-year transmissions were basically shit. I think 1986-1987 was the year they brought out the upgraded TH7004R's(better clutch packs, heavier-duty sprags...check w/ SGM or IndyShiftman over @dipshift.com), may do well to start there.
