I was talking to the guy at Advance
he said this would be a good carb, perfect when I tune the engine after installing it
And there is a new one on ePay pretty cheap

bet it's under 175.00
as they'll want that part off the books,,

Hey dipshit, motorcraft are some of the best carbs on the market. Go look at most old CJs... as their owners knew it was the best you could do for the 258 on normal budget. You don't know enough to hate any car part yet Laughing

Toad, unless you have an aftermarket intake, header and cam, the Demon is just throwing away money.

The salesman/counter guy suckered you but good. $369 for a fucking 2-bbl?!!!

Unless you're racing hobby stocks and the rules require it, that's a waster of money.

Suck it up, get the reman for less, put it on, and roll with it.

thats why you need to go to the parts store like a big boy and request a "REMAN. carb" and not ask "what carb would you like to get commission on today?"

go to the jeepforum and ask the CJ guys what carb they recommend for the 258. Other than the weber $$$$$$ they're gonna recommend the motorcraft. Wink
