Yeah, but I won't stub my toes on them while they are in there. _________________

It would have blue and yellow plates if it still had the originals when the car got to Cali in 75. It was in Mizzou before that. I bought it at a junkyard, so it has new plates. _________________

I've been behind in keeping up with the updates.
First, I went with Freiburger and his crew on a weekend of drag racing a few weeks ago. BFG gave me four drag radials so I had abuse at least two of them.
Here we are boiling our brains in the heat at Fontana. Rob Kinnan and Chris Campbell from Hot Rod showed up with the new Shelby GT500KR to thrash.
Here's the car with the drag radials and the leftover decals and shoe polish from the weekend.
I helped my friend Carl find parts and a frame to fix his wrecked 67 Chevelle. As a thank you he gave me these almost new Edelbrock shocks that he had lying around the shop. I replaced the crappy Gabriels that were on the Caprice and oh boy did it make a difference in ride quality and control.
Lastly, I happened to be cruising around Ebay and came across a four speed console for the 65 Impala. I found this one and won it. $150.
It came with an Kal Equip tach in the location where the clock is supposed to be at. I kinda like it. I'm gonna see if it still works.
I took apart the console and cleaned it up and polished the chrome a bit.

Thats definitely a hell of a score! Congrats on that, man! Glad to hear that cool and good things are getting added to the Caprice and Impala. _________________ "The end is never as satisfying as the journey.
