My first car was a 73 Coupe De Ville. I sometimes forgoed the shovel and just used the Caddy to ram my way out of the driveway.
My first car I purchased. $250. 71 Impala 4 dr. The back doors were frozen shut when I bought it from never being used in it's life. It had a 400 sbc.
I replaced it with this $50 piece of rust. I managed to drive it 1800 miles to Cali before sacrificing to the crusher. The frame rails were mostly gone when I bought it. Didn't know of course.
Here's us pulling the 400 out of the 71 and putting it into the 69. My first engine change.
My rust free replacement $250 73 Impala. This one had a broken timing chain when I bought off a tow truck. It had a L-48 350. It eventually got a 383 stroker. I delivered pizza in this car for four years. I was never late.
This is what it looked like before I pulled the 383.
My next car. I bought for $1200 with a junker engine trans. Put my 383/Th350 out of my 73 into it. 65 Impala SS. This is what it looked like when I first got it running.
This is what it looks like now. I've done more work than it's possible to describe here. The chassis and drive train are done.
My latest car, I own two now. 70 Caprice Coupe. It has a 454 and full power. Luxurious. This is also the most expensive car I've ever bought at $2000. I bought it at a junkyard then drove it home. Saved from the crusher. It even came with the five Rallys.

| I like your current two cars the best. Great cars, I'm sure they're a blast to cruise in. |

Nick's 65 Impala is one of the coolest ever built. I love that he raced it with full interior and column shifted it too. I think he sold it to go faster. |

I'd thought I upload a new video of the exhaust tone of the Impala. Sounds a little better out of the direct flow.

Just condensation from a freezing cold day. Engine was still cold too. I did compression and leakdown tests not too long ago. Lost a little around the rings 5% or less. _________________
